I started my teaching career by attending Louisiana Tech in Ruston, La.  and earning a B.A. degree in Education. I have taught twenty-five plus years and as a teacher in the sixth, fifth, third, first, and now second.  Also, for several years I was a reading interventionist teacher. This will be my sixteenth year at East Side Elementary.
