My name is Janice Lee, and this is my fifteenth year of teaching at East Side Elementary. 

I received my bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Tyler,

and received my teaching certification from LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. 

I have certifications for teaching K - 3rd grade generalist, 4th - 8th grade generalist,

and English as a Second Language.

 

I am very excited to be a Remote Learning Instructor this year, and I will strive to give each and every remote learning student the best educational experience,

one that will mirror the classroom experience as much as possible. 

 

I thoroughly enjoy being a part of the East Side family,

and I am proud to work with such a dedicated team of educators.

My number one priority is the safety and well-being of all students,

and to provide an educational experiencethat prepares every student for college readiness.

 

I believe every student deserves an education that helps to build the foundation needed

to become a successful college student.
